A challenge to us from social media consultant Paulie of Memeserver.co.uk. He thinks unions are better positioned than anyone to make use of social media, due to the inherantly social nature of our organisations.

As mutual support organisations, our members will want to pull together with us online too, and we'll be able to leverage loads of lovely 2.0 buzz, giving real validity to our work online in a way corporates would have to fake. That's the theory anyway:

Blue State Digital, who orchestrated the Obama campaign, will be addressing Forum participants in a keynote speech!

UNI's very pleased they've confirmed their presence, as has Avaaz.
