I have realized that in several ocasions, when you atttach images to your articles, you usually upload a very very big image (I'm talking about 2500 pixels wide and 1.8 MBytes), and you just "resize" with your mouse in the HTMLi Editor of your administration. That means that your page had to "load" about 2 Megabytes in order to be displayed. That means several minutes with a slow connection.

We're starting a new experiement in blogigingi at the TUC. A number of our policy officers are being set up to author on an informal public policy blog, called ToUChstone blog - www.touchstoneblog.org.uk

The idea is to let us communicate more about our policy work directly with interested stakeholders. Policy officers have a lot of interesting views and developments that aren't publicised unless they're big enough to devote a whole report to. This lets them report on anything they would like, without intermediation by the press.

Clever idea from Eric Lee. LabourStart's custom system is written in phpi, Perl, javascript and MySQL, and there are a lot of people out there with skills in those areas. Eric needs help occasionally with little technical problems, where his own knowledge of coding isn't enough to work out what's wrong. So he's started posting the problems up on a blogi for LabourStart supporters to advise him on what might be the best solution - Kind of like an IT help desk in reverse.

The 3D-internship website is indeed a place to be. After the presentation at the UNIcommunicators' forum in Capetown I have saverally viewed the site and i found it interesting. The network is superb. Had introduced some workers, friends and students to this site, hope they will make good use of what 3D-internship has to offer.  Keep up the good work Bart!

I am personally glad for the success of the launching of the aricaefuture in August, 2008 and hope for better days ahead. And so far it seems the french speaking contries are taking a lead.  I just want to encourage the english speaking countries to make good use of this opportunity and showcase what they have on their website so that viewers can have a good explore of thier sites.

This Communicators' Blogi isn't only about sharing techie tips. We've seen a mix of articles both technical and political.
