Video Editing

I need a free software to edit video. wat i want is a software which could allow me to:

- put end to end many short video i've done with my mobile phone

- to reduce time of videos or choose some sequences on videos.

I asume you are talking about Windows software. Although I worl with Mac I think I can give you some advise about the software that you will find in the previous link.

Movie Maker it's easy but with few features. It's a little bit limited

Blender is 3D editor, too difficult just for video.

Jashaka is more oriented to special effects. Good but not the primary editing software.

Vritual Dub and Wax could be good choices. Both of them are non linear editor with layers for video and audio. I dind't try them but they have good references.

windows tool

are you running Windows XP or newer? check out your accessories folder for a program called windows movie maker - it comes as part of windows and for a freebie is pretty good and very easy to use, with cutting, splicing, audio tracks, effects and titling. as it's hidden in accessories, many people don't know they have it.

About moovie maker

I've checked out my accessories folder but i've didn't see moovie maker. did i get to upload it?

where to find movie maker

Hmm - it should be located at C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\moviemk.exe on your computer, which is where it seems to install by default.

If not, and you have a verified version of XP which is up to date to service pack 2, it looks like you can download an updated copy of it at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx
